WHY PERELLÓ?
Perelló is built on a simple belief: start with a truly great olive and you don’t need to do much else. We champion the gordal – the large, fleshy green olive that Spain is famous for – and let its generous flesh and bright, clean flavour speak for itself. Each olive is pitted and prepared with care, so you get a firm, satisfying bite and a fresh, moreish taste every time. No heavy dressings, no overpowering seasoning, no corners cut. If you see Perelló on the jar, you know there are proper Spanish olives inside.
THE PERELLÓ STORY
Perelló grew out of a love for authentic Spanish olives and a determination to do them justice. While plenty of brands reach for smaller, cheaper varieties, Perelló built its name on the gordal – the plump “queen” of Spanish olives – prepared the traditional way. That commitment to quality fruit and simple preparation won a devoted following among olive lovers, chefs and food fans, first in Spain and then far beyond. Today Perelló olives are a staple on tapas tables, cheese boards and in kitchens across the UK, yet the approach remains exactly the same: exceptional olives, treated with respect.
WE LET THE OLIVE LEAD
We don’t drown our olives in heavy marinades or mask them with strong seasoning. We’re convinced that a brilliant gordal needs very little – just careful curing and a light, balanced preparation – to taste its best. So we keep things simple, which means you get the full, natural flavour of the fruit with every bite.
PERFECT FOR SHARING
Few things bring a table together like a bowl of proper olives.
Firm, bright and moreish, Perelló gordals are made for tapas spreads, cheese boards, cocktails and lazy grazing with a glass of something cold. Effortless to serve and impossible to stop eating, they turn any moment into an occasion.
The gordal olive
The variety Perelló is built on: a large, fleshy green Spanish olive whose name means "the fat one", prized for its meat-to-stone ratio and mild, buttery taste.
Pitted and ready
Typically sold pitted, with the stone removed — ready to eat straight from the jar, cook with, or drop into a cocktail. (Confirm per product.)
Mild, not bitter
Softer and less sharp than many green olives: firm, fresh and savoury, with a clean, moreish finish that doesn't overpower.
Grown in Spain
Associated with the olive groves of Andalusia in southern Spain, where the warm Mediterranean climate gives gordals their size and character.
