For more than 120 years, Daelmans has done one thing and done it exceptionally well: bake the perfect stroopwafel. Every wafel is made to the same family recipe Hermanus Daelmans started with in 1904 — two crispy waffles, a soft butter-caramel filling with natural Bourbon vanilla, and nothing that doesn't belong. THE DAELMANS STORY
It began in 1904, when Hermanus Daelmans opened a small family bakery in the south of the Netherlands and laid the foundation for the craft. Generation after generation stayed true to his motto — "When you enjoy, do it right" — and what started as one bakery grew into a family business with more than 300 people baking the very best stroopwafels every day. Four generations on, cousins Rik and Jeroen Daelmans lead the company, with one mission: to make Daelmans Stroopwafels available worldwide for everyone to enjoy. Today they're loved in over 35 countries.
