Frutteto Italia

This Great Taste Award-winning range is made in Tuscany. It is a healthier type of fruit spread, jam-packed with fruit and nothing else! Frutteto means 'orchard' in Italian as it's in the Tuscan hills near Florence that we cook our fruit spreads using fully ripe, organic, whole fruit sourced mainly from our local orchards.

All the fruit used is certified organic and is rigorously tested to ensure there are no residues of pesticides or of PFAS ‘forever’ chemicals. By using whole fruit and not pre-cooked purée, the nutrients and fibre within the fruit remain captured in the spreads. Cooking at low temperature in small batches helps to protect the vitamins, minerals and aroma. This is unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which destroys the goodness with harsh heat.
